- Consists of fine bits of broken leaf gathered from the crushing of broken leaves which only leaves small fine tea particles. The texture is almost powdery. Can be used in tea bags or blended into lower cost tea products.
- Used to brew strong, robust and brisk cup of tea. Its flavour doesn’t usually last over repeated steeping’s.
- Dust tea infuses quickly thus making it convenient for preparing a quick cup of tea.
BP1 (Broken Pekoe 1)
